The famous cathedral were St. James is buried "Santiago de la Compostela" gets a lot of tourism, and pilgrims have been walking the St. James trail for hundreds of years all the way from the French border, as it was said that if you made the walk, you would get a spot in heaven. The wine region of Rías Baixas is where most of the white wine in Spain is made, where the local grape Albariño is used, perfectly paired with shellfish.
